Time to Register and Renew

Dear ATTW listserv members,

Happy New Year! I’m writing with some good news and two requests.

The ATTW website has been successfully migrated to a new host, and we’re ready now for you to get involved by registering at the new website. Also, if you haven’t done so already, it’s also time to renew your membership through subscription to TCQ. Below are instructions for registering on the new site and renewing.

Please note that, for the time being, renewing your ATTW mebership and registering at the new attw.org website are still two separate processes. In order to renew your membership, you need to go to Taylor and Francis' website and subscribe to the journal. Please see instructions below.

Getting a user account on this site allows you access to all the materials posted here. Moreover, we are working on integrating the membership and journal subscription procosses into the ATTW website. Once that is done, your website user account will be the only account you will need.

Register as a user at the new site

To access the website and register at the new site, please follow these instructions:

  1. Go to www.attw.org
  2. On the left-hand side of the front page, find the link "Create new account"
  3. Fill out the user name and e-mail address fields, as well as the full name and institution fields.
  4. Copy the CAPTCHA characters into the field at the bottom of the page.
  5. Click "Create New Account"

You’ll probably notice that the website is still under construction. Currently it contains mostly static pages from the old website. The communications committee is currently analyzing survey results, and changes are on their way!

Renew your membership

After you’ve registered at the website, please consider updating your membership. If you have not paid your ATTW membership dues this year, you can easily pay online. From the www.attw.org website, follow this path: Organization>Membership Information. In the first paragraph on this page, you’ll find a link to subscription and membership information (or you can go directly there with this link: http://www.tandf.co.uk/journals/titles/1057-2252.asp ). The link will take you to the Taylor and Francis website where you can subscribe online for the upcoming year. Your $60 subscription to TCQ includes your annual ATTW dues.

If you have any questions or problems registering at the website, please email me (kelli.cargile-cook@ttu.edu) or our webmaster (zemliapx@jmu.edu ). For membership questions, please contact Susan Popham, our membership chair (spopham@memphis.edu ).

Thanks,

Kelli
